Read Washington's "Farewell Address" and Crockett's "Advice to Politicians" and do the following, in writing:
Compare and contrast the kind of advice that they are offering to people serving in government; explain what the differences in their advice says about the changes in American politics between 1796 - 1833.
To think about (you don't have to write about it): is Crockett's advice "tounge in cheek" and is Washington's advice something that politicians should still adhere to today?
Music: Read and memorize the summary of Native American music on p. NA-1 for Tuesday (9/22)
