Answer the questions about reconstructing the nation on the hand-out. After you have completed that, then read pages 538-550 in the textbook and prepare for a quiz. Consider what the situation in the nation was with regards to what needed to be addressed and what the different plans for reconstruction were. Be able to understand the differences between Presidential and Congressional Reconstruction.
