Due Friday:  Read "The Farmer's Grievances" and prepare for a quiz.  Focus on the following points:

• How does the author portray the farmer as a businessman / entrepreneur? 
• What did farmers see as the reasons for their troubles?  What did others see as the reasons for the farmers' troubles?  (Pay particular attention to the role of the railroads in all of this)
• What recourse did / could farmers seek to try to address their troubles? (Pay particular attention to the money supply in all of this)
