Here is a link to the program that I mentioned in class today featuring Dr. Peniel Joseph. He will be at St. Mary's Church Hall on Sunday, February 8 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The title of his program is "From Selma to Ferguson: Re-imagining the Civil Rights Movement in the Age of #BlackLivesMatter"
As I said, I have heard him before and feel he has some important things to say. I hope some of you might find some time to attend.
