Due Tuesday - Read "As long as the grass grows or water runs" and prepare for a "3 Question" oral quiz. The emphasis will be on pages 129 (paragraph starts on bottom of 128) - 141. You should focus on Andrew Jackson and other leading political figures at the time argued for (or failed to challenge) the removal of Native Americans from the southeastern United States to west of the Mississippi River.
Please read the whole packet, as it gives context to the establishment of Native American policy (including Jackson's conflicts with the Creek and Seminole tribes), but the questions will come from the above-mentioned pages. (page 146 - the final page, is on the back of the first page)
