Due Thursday:  Read pages 797-799 (start at "A Difficult Peace") and answer the following questions:

• What were the major elements of the Treaty of Versailles?  How fair do you think the treaty was?
• How was the map of Europe changed as a result of the war?
• Which was WWI's biggest legacy - the human costs, the economic costs or the political changes?  Explain

World History II (H) - D / F Blocks

Due Tuesday:  Read the packet that looks at the different views of "The Paris Peace Conference" and answer the following questions.

•  What are the main goals that President Wilson has for a post-war world, with regards to territorial sovereignty, international peace and solving the problems that led to the outbreak of war.
• Explain the different ways that Georges Clemenceau defines the shortcomings and faults of the German people.
• Questions 6 & 7 at the end of the German delegation reading.

You should also read pages 796-799 to get a sense of the terms of the Treaty of Versailles.  You don't have to include a write-up, but you are accountable for the information on these pages.
