Due Friday: Read pages 812-813 ("The US Economy in the 1920s"), 815 ("Before the Crash"), 823-824 ("Mussolini's Italy"), 826 ("Postwar Germany") - we will have a 3-question oral quiz on these pages. Since the ideas are a little varied and cover a range of countries, just be sure to take notes on the main ideas in each of these small sections.
World History II (H) - D / F Blocks
Due Monday (D) / Tuesday (F): Read the "Stalinism" packet and prepare for a quiz. Consider the arguments that are made that explain why the leadership of Joseph Stalin may have been part of a more natural tradition in Russian leadership, how Stalin personally maneuvered his way to the top of Russia's power structure, how he implemented and justified his control and how the violence of his leadership in the 1930s is explained.
