World History II (C1) - C Block

Due Friday:  Quiz on pages 593-606 in your textbook.  You can use one side of a piece of paper with hand-written notes.  You should pay attention to:

• the causes of the Revolution
• the significance of each of the events listed in the table on p. 606 (except for "the Directory")
• the issues from the notes you took from today's video

World History II (H) - D / F Blocks

For Friday:  Read over "The Declaration of the Rights of Man..." and "Reflections on the French Revolution"  - you don't have to have anything written, but you should understand the major ideas from each of the brief readings.

Upcoming:
Due Monday (D) / Tuesday (F) - Quiz on "The Republic" reading in the packet.  You should focus on:

• the effects of the September massacers
• the debate about the direction of the revolution within the National Convention (both before and after Louis' execution)
• the concerns about executing Louis XVI
• The situation in France by June 1793

Due Wednesday:  20 note cards, 3 source cards and an initial thesis statement (one thesis per project)
