Due Thursday: Read "The Execution of Louis XVI" in your packet and pages 604-606 in your textbook. For the textbook, evaluate the "Reign of Terror" as far as why it was done, who was targeted, the feeling it created and the effects of it. For "Execution" reading, answer 1-3 from the worksheet.
World History II(H) - D Block
Due Thursday: Read 593-599 (you can stop at "Formation of a New Government" - we won't address that yet) in your textbook and answer the following questions:
1. Summarize the immediate and long-term problems that eventually led to the Revolution.
2. Explain the relationship between the collapse of the Estates-General, the storming of the Bastille and the Great Fear (hint: there is not a direct correlation between the three events)
3. What was the significance of the major actions of the National Assembly government?
