3. According to the author, how does Stalin attempt to meet his goal of "shaping the human will"? (Honors only)

4.  What is the author's overall conclusion of Stalin's impact on the Soviet Union in the 1930s? (Honors only)

6.  In "Official History of the Purges" explain what can actually be learned by how the report is written, as opposed to what is actually written in the report.
