For Friday: Read "Connected, Exhausted" about teens, sleep and texting and answer the following questions:
1. List 6-8 specific facts / ideas about sleep, teens and texting from the article
2. Explain whether or not you agree with the author that this is an important issue to address (think about the experiences of you and your peers with this issue).
World History II(H) - B / G Blocks
Due Thursday: Read 29.4 and answer question #3. Also, read the short hand-out about an air raid in Britain and war rations in Germany and be prepared to discuss what they reveal about the state of the war by 1917-1918.
US History (C1) - E Block
Due Friday: Read 15.5 and explain what you see as the 4 most important long-term effects of the New Deal. Also, answer question #1 on page 530 (in the section looking at whether the New Deal brought forth more solutions or problems).
