Read pp. 577-580 in the textbook - write 2 paragraphs about the successes and failures of the French revolutionary movement between Aug. 1789 - Jan. 21, 1793. Consider what happened inside of France and how the revolution was viewed by outside countries
Read "French Nationalism" (pp. 15-16 in primary source packet) and explain how Danton uses the threat of foreign invasion to show the responsibility of all French citizens to the defense of France.
