Due Thursday:  Read pages 352-358 and prepare for a quiz.  Focus on the following:

• The US-Cuba relationship after the Spanish-American War (and the role of the Platt Amendment)
• The Philippine-American War - causes and results
• The Open Door Notes & the Boxer Rebellion - how do they effect US-China relations?
• The ideas behind the Anti-Imperialist League (review the arguments on pages 350-51:"Debate over the Treaty" for other ideas for this, as well)
