World History II (C1) - C Block
Study for Friday's Quest - focus on bigger picture type questions. Don't worry about recalling all of the events between 1931 - 1939 that started the road to war, but be able to define 2-3 of the events and explain how their outcome led towards war. Don't worry about all of the specific events in Japan - China between 1915 - 1940, but be able to give a general sense of the directions both countries were going and why. I am just looking to get a sense of your understanding of the reasons why the world grew increasingly hostile and brutal in the 1920s & 1930s by looking at the rise of the Soviet Union, Fascism in Italy and Germany and the problems with, and within, Japan, China and Europe.
