For Tuesday: 15 NHD note cards; a revised thesis statement (if necessary); a paragraph explaining what you are intending to do to prove your thesis, how you plan to do it and why you choose to do it in this way.
US History (C1) - E Block
Due Wednesday: Look over the 2 completed outlines that you worked on in class and answer the 2 questions:
1) Why do you think the problems of urbanization couldn't be, or wouldn't be, addressed by private businesspeople? Think about what the problems were and how profitable solving them could be.
2) How do you think the political problems expressed in the "Politics of the Gilded Age" would affect the country's (or a city's) ability to handle the problems of urbanization?
